San Pedro, Belize JAN 2026

I absolutely loved this trip!! Getting to experience the island, culture, food, and more authentically was a perfect experience. I loved putting the skills I have learned at school into helping others and testing their hearing— especially when that isn’t something they are offered often. It was fulfilling to know that both the clients and myself were experiencing new things. The only adjustment I would make is a little bit more organization/ set plans because they seemed to change rapidly and made some things feel rushed. The day we testing hearing at the airport was the best because it felt productive. I know this may also be a culture difference between what I have grown up with and those living in the island, so it did not bother me too much but may be helpful in the future!
