Review

This was such a unique experience that gave me new perspective and cultural competency strategies. It has equipped me with skills that I will be able to apply to clinic and life in general back home. Working here was inspiring and educational. Along with the clinical experience, I learned so much about the country and the culture. Being able to participate in activities such as the cooking class was fun as well as insightful as we learned more about the Garifuna culture within the culture of Belize as a whole. I would recommend this trip to anyone looking for a wonderful experience in cultural immersion and clinical competency.
