Belize Therapy Abroad

My trip gave me so much clarity if I am interested in humanitarian audiology. I really enjoyed this trip and the experiences I was given. It taught me to be confident in the skills I learned and to be flexible and roll with the punches. I liked that we were able to screen at the airport. It was really interesting what we saw and how workers at the airport don’t use or even in the culture don’t have hearing protection. I think that really showed me that it different with protecting your hearing culturally especially in a place that is super loud.
