SLP Grad Student Trip

I had so much fun in Belize and learned so many new skills while becoming more confident in my practiced skills!! The food was delicious and everyone in the community was so nice! I was able to find some local art in the market that I can’t wait to hang in my apartment! I loved the beach day and really enjoyed being able to relax on the last day of the trip. This trip challenged me and pushed me out of my comfort zone more than I was expecting. I was able to quickly pivot while evaluating children in order to work with their strengths and needs. I also feel like I deeply developed my report writing skills and now I feel much more comfortable doing this in the future.
