Life changing experience!

I arrived with the plan of staying 6 weeks and ended up staying 5 months.
From the moment I got to the house everyone welcomed me so warmly and with an open heart, I was so lucky to find so many great volunteers with whom I share my experience with!!

In the house the staff is always there to help you and support you and I've never felt alone or lost in any type of situations. The passion they have for the projects, especially the coordinator, makes it impossible to not start feeling it too.

I had the opportunity to teach both in summer school and normal school and I can say that sometimes it felt like the kids were teaching me more than what I was teaching them. The love they give you and how easily they show it, it’s something incredible.
The bond I had the opportunity to create with the teachers is something I will never forget and never stop being grateful for.

When I left I had no expectations or any idea what to expect but I truly found a family in Ghana and I am beyond grateful for this experience.
