trip to Martinique

Last spring, I went on a school exchange trip to Martinique with the program. Honestly, at first I was a bit nervous to go because it was my first time there and I was doing many things that I had never done before. However, because of the incredible people there (locals and the trip leaders) I can say that I had one of the most memorable experiences of my life. I learned so much about the culture and history of Martinique and improved my French language skills a lot. I stayed in a beautiful house right next to the beach, the weather was perfect, and there were so many fun activities. All of the local students I met were so kind and enthusiastic to have me there, some of them I still am friends with today. If I could go back to visit I would do so instantly, and I am so thankful for all of the work from the organizers and guides of the trip because it was really an unforgettable experience.
