Proper Preparation

At Vantage TEFL, every trainee in my class completed six observed teaching practices (OTPs) with real students, gaining experience across a wide range of age groups, proficiency levels, and classroom settings—from primary schools to university environments.

This hands-on approach is what I believe really set the course apart. It’s designed to help new teachers build real confidence, adapt quickly to different learning environments, and develop the practical skills needed to succeed in today’s classrooms.

I’m a February graduate, and hopefully a good example of what this training can lead to. Just a relatively short time after completing the course, I secured a full-time teaching position at a leading school in Chachoengsao, less than two hours outside Bangkok.

I credit a lot of my success to the teaching practice component, which prepared me not only for the interview process but also for delivering strong demo lessons at prospective schools.

The six observed teaching practices I completed under Vantage’s supervision made me ready to teach anyone, anywhere.
