The entire experience was incredible. The stay in Isa City was incredibly enjoyable, and the families we met there were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The activities we participated in, such as rice planting, were enjoyable. I appreciate the program’s emphasis on stepping out of one’s comfort zone and trying new things. The staff is good at getting things done and working with you to make sure you feel safe. All activities we did were super fun. At the end of the home stay we put on a good show to the City of Isa. I would recommend for those who want to experience the Japanese culture.
