Digital Nomad in Madrid, I Never Want to Leave!

During my digital nomad program, I had the opportunity to work remotely while exploring Spain and its beautiful cities. Traveling throughout the country was one of the best parts of the experience. I loved walking through the city, discovering new restaurants, and visiting museums. It is very easy to get lost in the best way and find new places to explore. The workload in my program was manageable, although working on New York time instead of Madrid time made it harder on some days to go out with other interns. For the most part, though, I had my mornings free, which I really enjoyed. I also loved the nightlife because there were so many different options. If you go to local spots, people are very welcoming and often interested in where you are from and where you are headed. I would absolutely choose Madrid again. You do not need to know Spanish to enjoy the experience, but it definitely helps to communicate and greet people in their own language.

Also, shoutout to our Events Coordinator, Corinne, who was so welcoming to every intern and brought an energy that made people feel comfortable right away. She was down-to-earth and reassuring, especially for anyone who was nervous. At every meetup, she made time to talk to everyone and check in!!
