Fruitful Internship Experience with AIP

My internship in Taiwan was honestly one of the most meaningful and enjoyable experiences I have had. At the start, I was a little nervous because I was working in a new environment and had to adjust to a different culture and way of communicating. However, my colleagues at my company were very welcoming, patient, and willing to guide me. Through working with them, I learned a lot about teamwork, communication, responsibility, and how to adapt when things do not always go according to plan.

Besides gaining useful work experience, I also had the chance to make many new friends. Spending time with both locals and other interns made the whole journey much more memorable. The most memorable for me was the trip to Fulong Bay where I cycled with the other AIP interns. We shared meals, explored different places, helped one another, and created many good memories together. These friendships were definitely one of the best parts of the internship.

I also really appreciated being able to experience Taiwan beyond the usual city attractions. Travelling to Taitung allowed me to see a quieter and more local side of Taiwan, including its natural scenery, small towns, food, and everyday lifestyle. It helped me understand the culture in a deeper way instead of only seeing Taiwan as a tourist.

Overall, this internship helped me grow both professionally and personally. I became more independent, confident, and comfortable with adapting to unfamiliar situations. I am very grateful for the people I met, the lessons I learned, and the experiences I gained during my time in Taiwan
