About Program

This intensive and dynamic course involves academic classes, active group work, guest presentations and field trips. It is ideal for students studying international relations, politics, security studies or policing, criminal studies, international relations, or international law.

This program is designed to give students an understanding and experience of the application of key analytical approaches in international security as well as grasp their implications for the European and global security environment.

This programme includes 3-day excursions to Prague, Vienna, and Budapest.

Classes take place Monday-Thursday from 9:30-12:30. The site visits and learning outside the classroom take place in the afternoons and on Fridays. Culture/social activities will take place in the afternoons/evenings.

Students should reach out to the Centre for International Cooperation and the Teiresias Centre prior to application to discuss what paperwork may be required to provide modification to their studies such as extra time on tests, quiet places for study, etc.
The Teiresias Centre at Masaryk University provides support for students and teachers who require accessibility support. The centre supports students in the areas of learning differences, physical support such as wheelchair accessibility, visual impairments, psychological concerns, deafness and hearing loss, and chronic diseases.

  • Students live in apartment style accommodation in the historical city centre while in Brno.
