About Program
ABOUT
This intensive and dynamic course involves academic classes, active group work, guest presentations and field trips. It is ideal for students studying international relations, politics, security studies or policing, criminal studies, international relations, history or international law.
This programme includes 3-day excursions to Prague, Vienna, and Budapest.
Learning outcomes: This program is designed to give students an understanding of some of the fundamental international security issues and their implications for Europe and the world.
SCHEDULE
Classes take place Monday-Thursday from 9:30-12:30. The site visits and learning outside the classroom takes place in the afternoons and on Fridays. Culture/social activities will take place in the afternoons/nights.

Program Highlights
- This programme includes 3-day excursions to Prague, Vienna, and Budapest.
- The final essay is included 3 weeks after the end of the programme
- There are site visits arranged to the organizations such as the UN in Vienna, OSCE Secretariat in Vienna, Radio Free Europe, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Slovak Republic and experts in the Security field.
- The programme is ideally located for students to be able to gain a regional perspective on both the historical and modern aspects as well as military and non-military security threats to international security.
- Students in this program are housed in one of our Residence Halls where both international and Czech students live during the school year.
