About Program

The University of Kassel is one of the leading universities in Germany, and indeed in Europe, in the fields of energy and the environment, environmentally responsible construction, environmental systems research, and ecological agricultural science.

Students gain an extensive overview of environmental engineering issues not only from a local perspective but also from a German and a European perspective. This multifaceted approach allows students to look into different aspects of the subjects concerned and to develop their own research focus. Excursions to companies and other users of renewable energy sources complement the academic classwork. Such field trips will not only allow students to explore how academic knowledge is put into practice but will also give students opportunities to network.

45 hours of instruction, 5 ECTS credits
