About Program

The Pomona Challenge is centered around the premise that study abroad programs, whether they be for a group traveling over spring break or the summer, should not only add value to the students who are coming to learn, but they should also add value to the project partners as well. With the Pomona Challenge, we are looking for groups of Business University students (Graduate or Undergrad level) to work with one of our portfolio companies on a business model challenge - this not only gives students a chance to put the skills they have learned in the classroom to the test but also gives our portfolio companies unique access to students who are learning today's skills and tools to help them develop their business models even further. Pomona Challenge participants will have the opportunity to learn from our own staff on the principles of Social Entrepreneurship and Impact Investment and then travel into the field where they will get 24 hours to address a business challenge.
