About Program

This is a four week online course which allows you to dive into the world of international negotiations and peace building. Taught by an Oxford PhD and Rhodes Scholar. As the Covid-19 health crisis continues, we see many world leaders negotiating and forced to make drastic policy responses to fight this virus. These responses, like travel bans, changes in international trade, businesses closing and social distancing, have profound impacts on the current international order. In this course, you will learn about the systems in place to allow these negotiations to happen and gain experience in using the techniques that world leaders are using right now for diplomacy. In addition, this course spends time delving into understanding global and civil conflicts and the methods used to bring about peace. In the final class, you will put your new knowledge to the test to take part in a zombie apocalypse simulation where you need to develop your own political deals to fight off a terrible virus.
