About Program

4 week online course for high school students that allow you to explore the most pressing issues in the development field today. The course is taught by a Rhodes Scholar and Oxford PhD. As developed countries continue to progress in social distancing to fight off Covid-19, few have taken into account the long-term and significant consequences the virus will have on developing countries. If the virus does fully spread into Africa, many healthcare systems will not have the resources to save the lives they need. A lot can be learned about these negative impacts from the fallout of the Ebola crisis that West Africa in 2014. This course provides you with a complete overview of what development in practice is like and how you can help. It gives you a better understanding of the complex challenges that practitioners and academic face when trying to generate poverty alleviation and growth. At the end of this course, you will get the chance to put your knowledge to the test as a practitioner.
