About Program

Join the Wildlife ACT Training Academy, now offering a variety of Wildlife Conservation Courses. These Wildlife ACT accredited online courses introduce participants to the most up-to-date, in-field conservation techniques and practices and include important aspects of Wildlife Monitoring, Camera Trapping, Tracking and Spoor, Conservation Management, Capture and Relocation, Wildlife Crime and Illegal Trade, Tracks & Signs, Wildlife Mapping and Community Conservation. A stepping stone for nature lovers looking to possibly pursue a career in wildlife conservation, or are interested in how conservation organisations operate. They includes a mix of live and pre-recorded classes and all course content and recorded sessions will be available to be completed at your own leisure.

Roughly 3-5 hours per week required, at your own pace
Includes weekly 45 minute quizzes to test what you learnt in the week
Every other week there will be ‘live’ instructor interaction sessions
