About Program
Petrozavodsk State University offers a well-balanced combination of subjects to students who want to explore Russia and its role in the modern world in English as well as the course of the Russian language. Our programme on Russian Studies provides students with knowledge and skills through multidimensional and interdisciplinary studying of Russia, its history, literature, regional features, economy, legislation, and international relations.
Russia is one of the main political and economic partners for many countries and therefore their state organizations and companies. That is why modern people should know about Russia and at least the basics of Russian language. This knowledge provides better opportunities in labour market.
Petrozavodsk State University gives you the choice! You can come for 1, 2 or 3 months and get 5, 10 or 15 ECTS! It is up to you to decide. There is also an optional part and you can determine its content depending on your own interests.
