The cost of the Course is 1400€ for each participant, which will include all instruction, lodging, and food throughout the program. There is a discount of 20 % of the total cost for university students. Travel that occurs during the operation of the program will also be covered by the tuition fee. Air travel expenses to and from the Course are the responsibility of participants and/or their sponsors.

About Program

EDNYA in collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Madrid and the Directorate-General for Environment of the Madrid Government invite you to come study abroad on the Protected Area Management Course in Spain. This 12 day intensive program, which takes place in the Sierra de Guadarrama National Park, gives participants a unique chance to build or strengthen their skills at managing public use and outdoor recreation programmes in protected areas.

The course is based in Cercedilla, a beautiful mountain village, only an hour away from the capital of Spain. It will take place from August 3 -14, 2015. Course activities take advantage of the rich experiences of their experts and participants, as well as the unique heritage and resources available in the Sierra de Guadarrama National Park.
