About Program
Katedralskolan in Lund is the oldest school of Scandinavia. It was founded by the Danish king Canute (the Holy) in 1085. Today Katedralskolan is a modern upper secondary school. The school is located in the town centre, only five minutes walk from the train station and the bus station. The total number of students is approximately 1400. Within the IB Diploma Programme the number of students is around 230.
The International Baccalaureate (IB) offers three high-quality programmes of international education to a worldwide community of schools. The three programmes help develop the intellectual, personal, emotional and social skills required to live, learn and work in a rapidly globalizing world. There are about 3660 IB World Schools in more than 140 countries with more than 1 360 000 IB-students at the different IB-prgrammes.
