About Program

American Councils is thrilled to be one of the first U.S. providers to return operations to Türkiye, starting in Summer 2026. A cultural and historical center, Türkiye offers a bit of everything for any visitor. From majestic landscapes to beach towns to bustling cities, American Councils Study & Research Abroad participants will have the chance to immerse themselves in Turkish language and culture.

The Intensive Turkish Summer Program (ITSP) is an eight-week intensive program offers a powerful combination of immersive language learning, cultural exploration, and personal connection.

The area studies track, entitled Türkiye Today, is an eight-week, English-language academic and cultural immersion program that brings together classroom learning, hands-on experience, and personal discovery.
