Over 18 years ago, a group of Christian parents gathered to discuss their dream to start a Christian Educational Community (CEE) in Siguatepeque, Honduras. The dream became a reality in 1990, when Siguatepeque Bilingual Christian school began with 13 students in Grades 1 and 2. Today, the school offers a complete elementary and secondary education, from kindergarten to Grade 11.
Elementary and secondary teaching positions for qualified teachers for students from Kindergarten to Grade 11. We require all teachers to be committed Evangelical Christians, who are willing to uphold our religious and moral belief system. There are positions available for both general elementary classroom teachers, as well as specialized positions in Art, Physical Education and Science.
The school year begins in mid-August with 2 weeks of teacher orientation and training. Classes begin at the beginning of September and continue until mid-June. The school celebrates a number of national holidays, as well as a 2-week break at Christmas and a 1-week break at Easter.
The school day begins at 7:30 am and ends at 2:15 for the elementary classes and 2:30 for the secondary. Class sizes are generally small, ranging from approximately 4-24 students.
