Wasambo High School - Teach in Malawi!

Determined to Develop (D2D) is recruiting a few teachers to join the faculty of Wasambo High School to plan and implement academic instruction, coordinate extra-curricular programming for boarding students, and facilitate the start-up phase of Malawi’s first extended / infused curriculum for classroom and experiential learning.

This job would suit someone interested in an exciting and intense position, looking for a unique teaching experience, and an opportunity to gain experience in an intercultural setting. It is a challenging role, but extremely rewarding and offers opportunities to take initiative in key school leadership roles. The successful candidates will literally help build a school from scratch. While supported by the head teacher and the D2D structure, candidates should have an ability to work independently, be extremely self-starting, be willing to take on extra responsibilities, and be ready for an adventure.
