Price Details

Course fee includes all materials for all theory sessions, lesson planning help, teaching practice observation and feedback welcome drinks, champagne and lunch / dinner celebrations, lifetime job guidance, certificates and worldwide postage..... there are no taxes or hidden costs at all. All you need is another 450 - 800 euros for accommodation depending on the type of accommodation you want. The course runs from 9 am to 6.30 pm from Monday to Friday for 4 weeks and we offer courses all year round. Location is opposite the beautiful Jardin des Plantes in central Toulouse, in a wealthy district of Toulouse.

About Program

Our 4 week TEFL Certificate course in Toulouse in South West France is externally accredited by IATQuO in the UK for worldwide recognition. We offer lifetime job guidance, blended course options and student visa programmes for non-EU passport holders to live in France for a year or more.
Trainees have over 140 hours classroom time including at least 6 hours of observed teaching practice as well as daily lesson planning help, observations of teachers and feedback. Around 70 hours of class time covers essential methodology such as teaching technique, phonology, teaching the four skills, teaching vocabulary and grammar. We offer a variety of accommodation types to suit different budget ranges from around 450euros. There is plenty of demand for TEFL teachers in France - and we have ex trainees teaching all over the world. Professional development modules available in Teaching Young Learners, Educational Technology and Trinity Dip TESOL for those who are already TEFL qualified.

You never really know when booking a program across the other side of the world but rest assured, TEFL Toulouse is not only legit but I learned so much more than I thought I would. The course ROCKED! I particularly appreciated the clarity with which they showed us how to plan lessons, and the 6 teaching practices were extremely useful. I ended up doing 8 of them so I really got value for money. The grammar and phonology aspects were covered in depth, and so were the sessions on how to teach the 4 skills. We had champagne and dinner at the end - on the house!
I also really liked Toulouse - it's beautiful, laid back and a well kept secret - shhh! My accommodation was very cheap (450 euros for the whole month) and very close to the training centre. Don't hesitate guys, this course is the best!! Or as Jonathan would say "really rather good" :)

Cons

A bit of noise from traffic passing sometimes

TEFL Toulouse offers a unique and intensive course on teaching English. Being in contact with several different TEFL trainers (who are teachers themselves) I was able to learn many different techniques in teaching English. The course provides over 6 hours of teaching practice with different groups of students. After the four week course, I had the competence and skills necessary in teaching English of all levels. It was an overall great experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking to become an English teacher.
