About Program

Toledo Institute for Development and Environment (TIDE), based in the Toledo district of beautiful Belize, has been at the forefront of conservation for over 10 years. Working in partnership with TIDE, Ridge to Reef Expeditions offers a unique conservation volunteering experience.

Join like-minded conservationists on this 8 week expedition, working alongside teams of local experts and help protect sea turtles, manatees, jaguars; coral reefs & rainforests in stunning Belize. Spend your days learning valuable conservation skills including SCUBA Certification, which contribute to the ongoing research and practical management in this district.

R2R typically hosts 6-12 volunteers on each expedition. Volunteers will be working with a dynamic, fast-paced organisation where activities are not “Put on” for the group. You will be directly helping with TIDEs current objectives and real conservation priorities.

Ridge to Reef also offers individual packages. See website for details.
