Costs and Accommodation:

Because Hope Foundation is a small NGO with limited financial resources, we ask that each volunteer covers their own personal costs during their stay in Cameroon, the flight to Cameroon and the visa. You will be provided with accommodation. We have a safe and comfortable housing or host families. As well three healthy meals a day, pick up and drop off from the airport. With the airport tickets, meals, and place to stay included, it's an estimated $117or 100€ per week.

About Program

Construction and outdoor work are still needed on our Rising International Bilingual School in Bertoua!
Join our construction team for some school constructions and help us finish what we started!
Are you a hardworking and extremely flexible volunteer who is talented with building skills?
You want to use your holidays in a meaningful way?
Are you ready to be a team worker with a vision of bringing change and making an impact with your time and labor?
Let’s get our hands dirty!
This volunteer opportunity will be available May to September 2026 in Cameroon; you can choose to stay between 1-3 months in this time.

Program Impact

Hope Foundation is primarily involved in humanitarian activities aimed at improving the standards of living for underprivileged Cameroonians. Our aid projects span across various fields including education, health, water and sanitation, child care, human rights, environment, women's empowerment as well as providing assistance to discriminated and disadvantaged community groups such as people with disabilities, street children, and orphans.
