About Program

HWE-ONG is a Congolese organization established in 2020, specializing in the promotion of the rights of women, girls, and children from indigenous communities. It is registered under number F.92/46.734 with the Ministry of Justice.

IHWE-ONG is dedicated to several areas of promotion, including Health, Human rights of women and children, Gender equality and human dignity, Environmental protection and biodiversity, Education, Economic empowerment of women, Combatting gender-based violence, Rights and education on sexual and reproductive health, Sport for peace, Promotion of culture for peaceful coexistence. The beneficiaries of our actions are primarily women, girls, and children from Batwa indigenous communities, as well as women and girls from other communities, rural women, and women who are victims of armed conflicts.

Volunteering abroad is very important for our organization, as it provides us with advanced and enriching experiences that will help us achieve our goals. We are looking for volunteers with the resources and skills needed to make informed decisions in drafting appropriate volunteer projects. These volunteers will enable us to introduce innovations that promote positive change in our community, influencing national policies to support equality for all and respect for human dignity.
