About Program
Come volunteer your time to valuable conservation projects with Holbrook Travel this year in the tropical rainforests of Costa Rica. The program runs for eight days and revolves around community-based conservation and service learning approaches to help save the endangered habitat.
Participants will be able to use the combined resources from the partnership formed by Holbrook Travel, the Selva Verde Lodge, and the Sarapiquí Conservation Learning Center. Together, the partnership creates El Centro Natural de Selva Verde (ECN), which focuses on the goal of conservation through education. Travelers will gain knowledge about rainforest structure, conservation and function that correlate with the National Science Standards.
In addition to the activities above, travels will go whitewater rafting, take salsa lessons, and visit Arenal Volcano and Termales del bosque hot springs.
