About Program

Holbrook Travel welcomes volunteers from across the globe to come participate in the exciting Turtle Tagging Adventure program held in Costa Rica! The program runs for nine days beginning and ending in San Jose, with the majority of the trip spent in Tortuguero. During the program, participants will work with the Sea Turtle Conservancy to protect the endangered green and leatherback turtles.

In addition, volunteers will not only have the chance to view many protected and threatened animals, but will be able to directly help them survive in the wild. The accommodations during the program are right where the work needs to be done, granting an unparalleled chance to gain an appreciation for the ecosystem and Costa Rica. Travelers will also be able to see spider monkeys, wading birds, caiman and manatees. For more information, please consult Holbrook Travel's informative website today!
