About Program
The province of Trentino in Northeast Italy stands out for its unique natural and cultural features. Its entirely mountainous terrain in the heart of the Alps treasures an unexpected variety of environments, ranging from 10,000-feet-high rocky Dolomitic peaks to gentle valleys and Mediterranean lakeshore. This land has been a bridge between the Latin and the Germanic worlds for centuries, and treasures the cultural diversity typical of a borderland. Exceptional natural resources and a tradition of responsible self-government made Trentino one of the most livable regions of Italy and Europe, with a diversified economy and a solid social fabric.
In this unique 10-week on the ground program, you'll take online classes at your home university, while living and working in the lively town of Trentino. You'll work with organizations focused on:
