About Program
In the Health and Hygiene program, you will primarily work with teenagers and children (age 5-16). Living in poverty, some of them do not go to school, but are eager to meet visitors and participate in your activities.
You will contribute to two of MarwaCodi’s core activities in villages and schools near Diani Beach.
- Health and Personal Growth of Teenagers: You will help conduct workshops and educate teenagers on reproductive health, self-awareness, responsible behaviour, and personal growth. You can mentor teens, conduct health talks, or organize sports and awareness events.
- Improving Hygiene: You will help eradicate jigger infestations and improve general hygiene. You can assist in home visits, shoe distributions, and organize community hygiene education workshops and talks.
