The EKARI Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in 2009 with the aim of breaking the circle of poverty by supporting youths' education and sustainable livelihood in southern Malawi, Phalombe district. On education project we would like to empower the youth complete their education up to tertiary level. Phalombe district has a total population of 343,898 people (2012 midyear projection-National Statistical Office) and Ekari foundation is currently supporting fifty vulnerable students in the district.

We believe in empowering the future generations of Malawi to emerge from poverty through providing access to quality and relevant education, coupled with the necessary resources and training to assist families and communities in establishing and celebrating Sustainable livelihoods
