About Program
You will be trained in Mexico City by one of the most recognized Professional Mexican Rescue Teams. This training will allow you to join their organization in future rescues around the world whenever a disaster strikes. You will learn about Civil Protection/Defense, Hazards, First Responder Training, Donated Goods Management, Triage and Collapsed Structures. After these 18 days of training you will be ready to work with our Partner Organization as a team member, but in no way will you be qualified to execute a rescue on your own.
You will also have the opportunity to learn more about Mexico and have free days to visit Mexico City.
Part of training to assist rescues around the world is preparing yourself for the country you will be visiting. Therefore, for this specific Program, you will not be receiving Voluntrek´s Pre-departure Kit. Your first task on your way to become a rescuer will be to gather the required information to prepare for your visit to Mexico.
