About Program
This program lets you make an impact in the lives of kids and teens while enjoying the vast, rugged expanse of Mongolia. Shinesaran Development Fund provides you the opportunity to volunteer at a camp for participants ages 7-16.
Your role encompasses activities like teaching basic English, playing games with the campers, teaching songs, and helping make their stay enjoyable. You will also help camp teachers organize events like sports, concert performances, arts and creations, and environmental conservation.
When not working at the camp, you will engage in a wide range of adventure activities, such as Mongolian wrestling, camel riding, rodeo and archery competitions, (traditional) family visits, and Mongolian singing and dancing. Throughout the program, you will live in a wooden house/cabin with other volunteers and a Mongolian teacher.
