About Program
Experience authentic rural Nepal with the Good Karma Foundation. Our holistic volunteering program invites people of all ages to the breathtaking Lamjung district, the gateway to the Annapurna Circuit. Whether you are a student, taking a gap year, or a professional, you can make a difference by teaching in local schools, assisting with eco-farming, or helping with light construction.
This is a true cultural exchange. You will live within a "living museum" of diverse ethnic groups—including Gurung, Tamang, and Brahmin communities—learning their traditions while sharing your own.

Location
Lamjung is the first part of the well trekked Annapurna circuit. This area is at the base of the mountain and is predominantly sub tropical and lush. While exploring the area, you will notice the terraced farming that the region is well known for, make sure to stop and enjoy the serenity.
