Volunteer Teaching English to Adult Immigrants Online

Nevy's Language is a non-profit, online social enterprise that aims to help immigrants to English-speaking countries integrate faster into their new homes! To date, we have helped over 700 students!

We help these adults (ages 30 - 50) by pairing them with teachers for one-on-one sessions over Zoom. We train our teachers and give them the materials to use. All they have to do is prepare ahead of each session and send homework afterwards! We have the materials needed, our program themes include General English, Conversation Practice, Writing, Citizenship English and K-12.

This is a volunteer opportunity, so it's only 2 months long, and for 4 hours per week! The application process is quick and easy, we ask you to complete an application and a brief video interview. Once accepted, we put you through some orientation and training materials and then activate your profile. You get to choose the students that you want to work with!
