About Program

Join Floating Doctors, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit medical team providing vital healthcare in remote communities in Bocas del Toro, Panama.

As part of our One Health initiative, we have established a veterinary program that treats 3,000 animals annually. As a volunteer, you will assist the veterinary team in the preventing zoonotic diseases and population control by spaying/neutering.

Our lead veterinary providers will guide you through clinical cases and teach you about tropical diseases and animal welfare. Prepare for the adventure of a lifetime, travel with our team by boats through coastal mangroves, hike in dense jungle, sleep in hammocks and experience the culture of our beautiful communities.
