About Program
Our Divemaster Internship combines professional dive training with hands-on marine conservation. Set in the Philippines, this program goes beyond standard PADI Divemaster courses by taking significantly longer than industry standard, integrating scientific reef monitoring, conservation fieldwork, and real-world experience in a working NGO.
You’ll progress through Divemaster training while assisting with daily dive operations, guiding certified divers, and developing leadership skills underwater. Supporting the daily logistics you will contributing directly to ongoing conservation efforts, and you will have the opportunity to learn technical decompression diving from extremely experienced instructors.
This internship is ideal for those looking to build a career in diving, marine conservation, or environmental management. You’ll graduate not only as a Divemaster, but with practical field experience and a deep understanding of dive operations, marine ecosystems and their protection.

Program Impact
This program creates impact on two levels: environmental and personal. While interns contribute to reef monitoring, data collection, and Marine Protected Area support, the experience also builds highly transferable professional skills. Participants develop confidence, leadership, underwater awareness, and technical diving competence through real daily operations in a working NGO.
Interns gain experience in guiding certified divers, assisting with field logistics, and working within a multidisciplinary team. Exposure to scientific methodologies and conservation practices provides a strong foundation for careers in diving, marine science, or environmental work.
By the end of the program, interns not only hold Divemaster certification, but also leave with practical field experience, improved problem-solving abilities, and a deeper understanding of marine ecosystems and their conservation.
