The Surfer Kids Non Profit Volunteer Program

The Surfer Kids Non Profit Volunteer Program empowers youths from marginalized communities through surfing. Learning to surf is a difficult process and takes progressive steps to master and this builds true dedication and commitment. This is a powerful life lesson to learn early on in life.

The only requirement is that volunteers are confident and competent swimmers. The best part about our Core Surf Program is learning to surf!! Included in our volunteer program is a set of introductory surf lessons by a qualified surf instructor working full time for our Core Surf Program.

By learning to surf volunteers are prepared to assist our children in the ocean. When the conditions are not perfect for the children to surf then we focus on teaching them ocean related skills or volunteers help do surf board repairs and helping the kids with home work assignments.
