About Program
You will help local children to develop their love of sport. Sports is not only important for keeping children active and healthy; but can also be an excellent tool for developing social skills such as working as part of a team; and provides a positive outlet for children, steering them away from the negative influences in life.
You may be running your own independent sports workshops (with the support of a co-ordinator) or assisting with ongoing projects in the community. You will usually be working with children between the ages of 11-18.
Not only will you be assisting with sports workshops but you will also have the opportunity to be a part of our community outreach projects - all aimed at empowering locals! Community projects will include conducting social surveys in the local township, building eco-friendly greenhouses and helping at an elderly care centre.
