Our teaching assistant program is an excellent opportunity for qualified teachers, trainee teachers or just those who are interested in education to develop their passion for teaching and gain international work experience. You will gain an in-depth understanding of the local curriculum and the teaching methods that are popular here in the Caribbean. You will assist with lesson planning and delivery and provide one-on-one support to students who need extra help to thrive academically. In the past, volunteers have helped to organise literary drives to tackle high literacy rates, and have volunteered at summer schools for local primary school children.

In addition to this rewarding placement, you will live on one of the world's most spectacular islands, Tobago. With beaches, coral, rainforests, and historical towns, Tobago has it all!
