The best way to give and learn

I have dedicated my holidays to traveling and volunteering, and the volunteer experience with IVHQ in Bali is the most unforgettable one. Volunteer wise, the program is so well developed and organized, that it provides helps that the local community would need. During the two-week staying, we helped renovated the classrooms of local primary school. The best part is that you work with people who share same interest with you and there is so much fun just spending time with all the volunteers and doing something meaningful. The vibe from other volunteers always cheers me up even we are working in a 30 degree room without air-conditioning. Experience wise, the coordinators and host families support us with whatever we might need and share their culture and belief with us. They have such magical smiles and warm hearts. The two weeks in Bali helped me to have a real understanding of Indonesian culture and gain a real local experience. Being local and being meaningful while volunteering and traveling, it is a great learn and give experience. I love Bali! And I am starting off a new journey to Africa in 15 days with IVHQ again!
