Just Go!

The first day I arrived, I was completely exhausted. I could not believe I had traveled over 20 hours and was FINALLY in Spain. Speaking of 20 hours of travel, I caught some sort of bug on the plane, which left me hanging out with the toilet, rather than fun Spanish friends, my first night in my new home. Despite my unfortunate illness, my three and half months abroad were more than I ever could have hoped for. I learned more Spanish in three and a half months than I ever did back home, the people were so kind and welcoming and it was so humbling to learn about not only the Spanish culture, but also about my own culture from a new perspective.
