Review

I worked and lived closely with 29 other people and if I could I would do it all over again. Although it was exhausting, and kept us busy 24/7 I met some amazing people that I will never forget and also learned how to teach kids English. I feel really prepared to teach, and this wouldn't have been possible if I didn't do the TESOL course. I was nervous that I would be left stranded in the middle of nowhere having to figure things out on my own but the process was smoother than I thought, and now I am sitting writing this in my new apartment! I don't think I could have done this without TravelBud's help.

Would you recommend this program?
Yes, I would

When Saskia (my TravelBud correspondent) sent us an email saying that she would support us through the process I thought it was her way of reaching out and telling us that it was okay to ask her for help. When I checked in with her I explained that I was nervous and kind of freaking out because everything was moving so fast back at home that my trip to Thailand was moving quicker. Maybe, I should have explained myself better or was too dramatic (I was definitely a healthy amount of nervous) because I did not get the response I expected from her. She responded by telling me to keep my nerves to a minimum. Now, I wasn't expecting a therapist on the other end but I was definitely expecting more of a supportive answer, rather than just telling me to not feel what I am feeling. Perhaps, the staff can be trained better on how to deal with these situations? That's my only concern with the process I went through, other than that it was really awesome.
