Ninja Teacher was superb in helping me make the move from the U.S. to Vietnam. For someone who has never lived abroad before, making a decision such as this was very intimidating at first. But knowing that I had a support system during the transition made the process so much smoother. As far as the TESOL course goes, I thought that it did a very good job preparing me to be an ESL instructor. It was very challenging at times and it forced me to step outside my comfort zones when I wasn't prepared to do so. Overall, it provides a solid experience of what to expect when you move out into the marketplace and look for a job. I truly do believe this is much better than acquiring your TESOL certificate online. I'm happy with the service and would recommend it to anyone who is looking to start teaching English in Asia.

I was really caught off guard when I realized that AVSE and Ninja Teacher were completely separate entities. I think that to most people who come out here because of Ninja Teacher, this can be a bit deceiving. I think Ninja Teacher is an amazing organization, but I definitely had some issues with AVSE. For future references, don't let the disorganization and flaws of AVSE ruin the reputation of Ninja Teacher. From a business standpoint I'd be careful. I think a lot of people come out here because of the "guaranteed job" pitch. But during my time at AVSE I found Vasu (the employment staff) to be lazy and a bit dishonest. It was obvious that he really didn't want to do his job, so myself and the other classmates took it upon ourselves to find jobs. In that regard, I don't feel like I got my money's worth. But again, I do realize that this has nothing to do with Ninja Teacher. I'd just thought I'd share my concern with you from a business standpoint. Cheers!
