Amazing

I spent 5 weeks doing the event management placement with edge of africa during university and it was some of the best weeks of my life! To start with, the staff are lovely, so helpful and make you feel at home. You get free time on the weekends and afternoons to go exploring and go on excursions, for example whilst I was there I participated in a bungee jump, some game drives, shark cage diving and other amazing things.
The events management placement was really good and I got to learn different skills. We put on a talent show for children at a few different schools and it was so much fun and the kids enjoyed it. Not only did I help plan and deliver the talent show I also got to take part in some community outreach projects which were really interesting as you get to be in a different community and immerse yourself into their culture. I would recommend edge of Africa to anyone, the memories I have made and the differences I have helped to make in knysna will stay with me forever and I wouldn't change a single bit of it.
