This is worth your time! Time to live

I just completed my 11-week online TEFL certification through the International TEFL Academy and now feel fully prepared to teach English abroad. To be transparent, you have to work hard throughout the course, give yourself plenty of time throughout the week to study the course materials, plan lessons, and take weekly quizzes! This will not be a breeze for all! I will say, as long as you are willing to reach out to your course instructor and fellow classmates for questions you have, they will be of great assistance with anything you are struggling through. I personally had no prior teaching experience and had no formal classes related to teaching English before taking this course. I can confidently say now that I am prepared to move abroad with my certification and ready to start my teaching career. The International TEFL Academy requires you to observe ESL classes and to choose tutoring or small group classes during your Practicum to get you accustomed to teaching English in the future. I believe this is what sets them apart from other TEFL certification programs. Getting my certification through ITA has been worth every cent!
