One of the best trips I have ever taken, nicely balanced with activities and chilling. I would even prefer more walking. 😉 great itinerary overall, liked everything except for maybe Chiang Mai great canyon. The highlights were elephant sanctuary, jungle trekking and Kanchanaburi river experience. Great cooking class in Chiang Mai as well! Art and Pompom did their best to make us feel happy and involved. This is my first backpacker tour and I very much loved it! These trips are perfect for solo travelers and give much better picture of the country than standard tours/excursions in tourist buses. Northern Thailand tour was definitely an adventure, would recommend to everybody adventurous, interested in exploring and experiencing. Not so much on history and culture, but also not so much on clubs and parties.
