The most amazing experience

Os colchões estão extremamente ruins, com um vão tão profundo que ao deitar encostamos as costas nas ripas da cama. Tive muita dor nas costas nos primeiros dias e considero muito importante que providenciem a troca deles.
Somos voluntários, jovens, muitos viajando sozinhos pela primeira vez. Caso algum voluntário fique doente é de extrema importância que a coordenadora local de alguma assistência. No meu caso fiquei muito doente, cheguei a desmaiar, estava tão sem forças que não conseguia levantar da cama, estava sozinha em casa e precisava ir ao hospital, porém não tinha condição nenhuma de fazer isso sozinha, e a coordenadora nem mesmo se ofereceu para ajudar. O mínimo que ela deveria ter feito era ir na casa ver como eu estava. A situação poderia ter se agravado e ela nao deu a mínima.
A cozinha ficava em uma situação deplorável, higiene zero. Por mais que os responsáveis pela sujeira fossem alguns dos próprios voluntários os outros que gostam de uma cozinha limpa não tem culpa. Toda vez que eu ia cozinhar precisava lavar panelas supostamente limpas de tão nojentas que estavam, cheias de restos de comida. A solução para esse problema acredito que seja ter maior rigidez e também ter maior fiscalização.
Além disso, considero muito importante que a casa tenha uma empregada para fazer faxina semanalmente. Voluntários jamais irão se organizar para fazer limpeza da casa, a rotatividade é muito grande, logo seriam sempre os mesmos limpando e outros com preguiça, conclusão: "Por que eu vou limpar a casa para todo mundo se ele/ela nunca limpa? Não é justo."
Mais um ponto sobre a higiene é que passei um mês morando na casa e os panos de louça nunca foram lavados devidamente, estavam sempre sujos e fedendo. As vezes a Valencia lavava-os a mão, mas muito mal, e continuavam fedendo.
E por fim, achei muito anti-higiênico o fato das roupas de cama serem trocadas apenas uma vez a cada duas semanas, o ideal é que sejam trocadas semanalmente.
O valor cobrado pela internet não é justo, é visível a intenção de lucro, o que não devia acontecer, uma vez que já estamos pagando um valor alto por um projeto que não inclui alimentação nem transporte. Para cada pessoa na casa a internet custa 400 rands por mês, quando eu estava na casa estávamos em 10, o que significa que devem ter ganhado aproximadamente 4 mil rands em internet, concluindo um lucro de quase 600%, já que pelo que calculamos a conta de internet deve ser algo em torno de 400/600 rands mensais.
A casa é adorável, ambientes grandes, arejados e confortáves.
Adorei janta que fizeram no dia em que cheguei, seria legal se fizessem mais vezes, é uma ótima forma de integração e recepção.

We are volunteers, young people, many traveling alone for the first time. When a volunteer get ill it is very important that the local coordinator provide some assistance. In my case I became very sick, I fainted, I was so weak that I could not get out of bed, I was alone at home and needed to go to the hospital, but I had no way of doing it myself, and the coordinator did not even offer help. The least she should have done was go to the house and see how I was. The situation could have worsened and she did not give a damn.
The kitchen was in a deplorable situation, zero hygiene. As much as those responsible for the dirt were some of the volunteers themselves, others who like a clean kitchen doesn't deserve to "pay"for that. Every time I went to cook, I had to wash the supposedly clean pans of so disgusting that they were, full of leftover food. The solution to this problem I believe is to have greater rigidity and also to have greater supervision.
In addition, I consider it is very important that the house has a maid to clean it weekly. Volunteers will never organize themselves to clean the house, the turnover constantly, so they would always be the same cleaning and others with laziness, conclusion: "Why am I going to clean the house for everyone if someone never cleans? Not fair."
One more point about hygiene is that I spent a month living in the house and the dishcloths were never washed properly, they were always dirty and stinking. Sometimes Valencia washed them by hands, but very badly, and they continued to stink.
And finally, I find it very unhygienic that bed linen is changed only once every two weeks, ideally they should be changed weekly.
The amount charged by the internet is not fair, it is visible the intention of profit, which should not happen, since we are already paying a high value for a project that does not include food or transportation. For each person in the house the internet costs 400 rands a month, when I was in the house we were in 10, which means that they must have earned approximately 4 thousand rands in internet, concluding a profit of almost 600%, since by what we calculate the internet account should be somewhere around 400/600 rand a month.
The house is lovely, large, airy and comfortable.
I loved dinner that they did the day I arrived, it would be nice if they did more often, it's a great way of integration and reception.
In general I loved the project, it was an incredible and unforgettable experience, I will recommend it to all my friends!
