Taiwan? Taiwan!

I feel like not many people know about Taiwan. But it is such an amazing place! I had been to Taiwan before to visit friends who I knew from my study abroad in the US, so when it came to choosing a destination for my internship, my mind was set: It had to be Taiwan!

An internship in Film & Photography where you actually learn something is a fairly difficult opportunity to secure in Germany. But thanks to MeijiInternships, I had the chance to work in my dream industry (and my dream destination!) I spent some days shadowing my company’s photographers and videographers at different locations and events, which was an incredible learning experience. In addition, I was also given a camera and helped with many Photoshop tasks. It really was the perfect internship for me and I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to advance in my Photography career, meet friends from all around the world, and grow into a more independent and confident person. I learned so much about work in Taiwan and now feel a lot more confident about my photography skills than I did before my internship started. I am actually even considering to start a freelance photography business back in Germany (with occasional visits to Taiwan, obviously!) Throughout my time in Taipei, I felt incredibly comfortable and it quickly became my favorite place in the world!
