Ten out of ten

My experience in Taipei was unique and exciting. I must admit that I was a bit nervous at first because it was the first time I had gone off to a real job far away from home. But right from the start, Meiji was highly attentive and accommodated me wonderfully. When I got to Taipei, I learnt that everybody else was feeling just the way I did (which was awesome because I quickly made new friends!). I loved both, the times spent working and the times spent travelling - it was honestly a great mix. That way, my motivation to travel never reached a saturation point and I kept loving each and every new sight (in contrast to this one time my sister and I went backpacking in Thailand and just felt like we had seen enough temples at some point). You really don’t need to rush through all the touristy spots! Interning abroad gives you all the time you need to take it all in. I am returning home grateful, and with a huge smile on my face, because this program exceeded my expectations!
